Backyard Playtime

charlene is getting cuter everyday! yesterday we watered our garden (it's doing so well!) and pushed the girls in the swings fir a bit afterward. they loved getting outside. we'll have to do it more often before it heats up too much.

below: check out charlene's feet. her legs are always straight out like that, and she's always rotating her ankles - she cracks me up.beautiful girl! love those cheeks!addison decided it was her turn to push charlene. she started talking to charly in a cute little voice like an adult would talk to a baby - she catches on so fast.as you can tell, charlene loved it.when i ask addy to smile, this is what she gives me:all well.

Painting Grandma's House, Some More

our mccleve family got together again to paint more of grandma's house. we didn't have as great of weather as we did last time, but it was still fun getting together and teasing eachother. mccleve's always tease.

a perfect example: kyle helps me get a photo of jalee even though she looks "terrible".getting those hard-to-reach places was made much easier with grandpa's tractor.you know you're not working hard enough if there's not paint all over you. my dad was probably the cleanest of his brothers. it was fun to watch them try and stay clean. didn't last very long.caiden cleaning out a spray gun.caleb was everywhere. kyle and i got a kick out of watching him strip down in the irrigation. this kid ahas a ton of personality.strpping down and staining the front door.

taking a break for lunch.some of the grandkids talking business over lunch.addy, she's so darn adorable. and stubborn.our painting equipment mess left in grandma's garage. going around and cleaning up at the end of the day. this is the part where everyone wants to just go inside and take a nap.looks great with the main color though. just a bit to finish. almost done.

Changing

we're really excited to plant our garden this year. again we're planting at the same time as our ward garden is getting started. it's gonna be bigger and better than last year, and hopefully will last longer.charlene and addison are awesome friends. charlene loves to watch her big sister run around in circles and addison thinks it's hilarious of herself to entertain charly. charlene and i left the house today and came back with a new hair cut and color and peirced ears! we love our new look.i pulled this outfit out the other day, it was one i wore as a baby. so fun to see it on charlene, but i don't think she enjoyed it very much.adorable, isn't it?! love my chunkster.

Cousin Plays

time with cousins is the best. it's even better when you have a trampoline and a hose.

maeli was jumping and landing on her bum and also sliding her legs out until she'd fall. addison trying to copy her but too scared to make herself slip as well, would start to slide her legs apart, then jump on her bum and say, "slip mommy!"

"slip mommy, whoa!"

it's too weird to drink from the hose, so licking it off the tramp makes much more sense.

love saggy "unerwear" on addy. she's adorable.

Bath Time Is The Best

bathtime is a favorite in the mckay household. as soon as we announce it, addison strips herself down and charlene gets excited when she hears the bath water running. showers with mommy or daddy are a hit too. since charlene was born, addison sometimes want to be held in the shower just like her little sister. we have many bath toys that come to life with daddy's and addison voices and the conversations they have are funny to hear.

Baby Hairdos

if you don't have your hair already done when your aunts come over, it's okay, they'll do it for you. then they will laugh and show you around and then take pictures. sumo charlene!
